Cellar Events Manager

In this Cellar Events Coordinator role, you will be responsible for the operations of the company’s winery cellar and wine portfolio. Reporting directly to the CEO, your duties will include;

• Taking in bookings and reservations from private individuals as well as groups, and managing the overall calendar of the winery cellar
• Ensure the smooth day to day running, upkeep and operations of the winery cellar
• Welcoming private individuals and groups and hosting them throughout their visit
• Assisting guests with wine tours and tasting education and purchases throughout each tour
• Building, maintaining and expanding positive customer relations
• Representing the company and brand in a positive manner
• Planning and organizing of separate and/or private events held within the winery cellar

• Excellent communication and people skills are must whilst the ability to speak publicly and effectively before groups is a big plus
• Have a flair for customer service with desire to create a memorable guest experience
• Excellent command of both English and Maltese languages

• WSET Certified or other relevant qualification
• Previous experience within event functions is a must whilst experiences in FMCG-related functions would be ideal
