Broadcast Producer

We are looking for a talented and creative Broadcast Producer to join our team. This role is crucial in shaping the sound and content of our radio shows or podcasts, working closely with presenters and production staff to deliver high-quality, engaging programming.

Key Responsibilities:

• Researching and developing original content ideas for radio programmes and podcasts.

• Writing scripts and material for presenter links and segments.

• Identifying and securing contributors, guests, and interviewees.

• Selecting and editing audio clips for broadcast.

• Preparing pre-production briefings for presenters, reporters, and contributors.

• Coordinating logistics, ensuring people, resources, and equipment are in place.

• Conducting interviews and undertaking editing or reporting duties as needed.

• Engaging with audience feedback and incorporating user-generated content.

• Utilizing production tools such as Adobe Audition for editing and sound design.

• Coordinating with the marketing and digital teams to promote the shows.

• Engaging with listeners through social media to gather feedback on the shows. 

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Strong editorial and creative mindset.

• Excellent research, writing, communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

• Proficiency in audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in radio production, broadcasting, or podcasting is preferred

• Fluency in both Maltese and English is a must.
