Brand Executive

Within this job of a Brand Executive you will be working on a strong portofolio of international brands with a focus on marketing, monitoring, forecasting and reporting of sales, procurement and market spend, while reporting to the Markeing Manager:

• Draw up and execute the yearly marketing / business plan for your portofolio
• Take an active role vis a vis new product development and sourcing
• Regulary monitor sales performance of the brands/products under your are of responsibility, while working closely with the sales team
• Monitor market trends and work closely with the sales team on pricing, market penetration, stock availability, competitor activity etc
• Build and maintain good relations with clients
• Ensuring that adequate stock levels are kept / liaising with the shipping and logistics departments as necessary
• Establish and maintain a strong and open working relationship with the Brand owners oversees - providing regular market review reports, sales reports and other requested information
• Work closely with marketing agencies to develop campaigns, brand advertising material etc
• Apply a hands on approach in the online / digital world
• Negotiate on best prices and conditions when sourcing promotional items, advertising space, sponsorships, events etc
• Attend Brand Sponsored events
• Take initiate for development of new ideas related to your products
