Job Description
Medichem Manufacturing (Malta) Ltd is looking to recruit a Production Operator (FDF) to join their team on a full-time basis. 

Medichem Manufacturing (Malta) Ltd and Combino Pharm (Malta) Ltd form part of the Medichem group, a Spanish pharmaceutical organization that develops and manufactures both active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished dosage forms. Medichem specialises in active pharmaceutical ingredients, while Combino Pharm is focused on solid oral generic pharmaceutical products. The organization provides high-quality medicinal substances and products for the worldwide market, with special emphasis on Europe and the US. The two factories are located side-by-side in the Hal Far Industrial Estate, hold EU GMP certification and US FDA approval, and have been operating here in Malta for 16 years.

Job Role: 
We are looking for Production and Packaging Operators within Combino Pharm who will be responsible to carry out:

• Manufacturing processes that convert active ingredients and other chemical substances into a final dosage form
• Packaging operations of the final dosage form units (tablets/capsules) which will be ready to be distributed to our clients by following predetermined processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in accordance with Quality and Environmental Management Systems.

The Position Requires:

• An Ordinary Level standard of education or a Certificate in a Mechanical related discipline. As a minimum, the applicant must have a School Leaving Certificate.
• Working on a rotational shift basis from Monday to Friday.
• Good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to follow written instructions in English and compile manufacturing documentation.
• Working in a clean environment and wearing personal protective equipment.
• Carrying out cleaning of process rooms and related process equipment.
• Setting up, and proper use of manufacturing equipment as per relevant standard operating procedures.
• Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry and knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) would be advantageous.
