Machinist (Brewing)

Simonds Farsons Cisk Plc in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Machinist (Brewing) to join their team on a shift basis.

Job Role:
We are presently seeking Operatives with the objective of promoting them to the role of Machinist within one year of joining, subject to meeting the essential core and fundamental skill prerequisites. The selected individual(s) will be tasked with operating and maintaining the machinery in the Brewing divisions of the Operations department, ensuring alignment with established benchmarks for quality and efficiency.

The selected individual will have the following responsibilities:

• Operating the plant and its systems, while also overseeing processes through control room operations
• Preparing the plant for various processes by adding raw materials and other substances in accordance with standard operating procedures
• Collaborating and notifying supervisors of any emerging faults as per established protocols
• Assisting in troubleshooting faults on-site and contributing to periodic maintenance when required
• Adhering to the sampling schedule across brewing sections in line with established protocols
• Cleaning the brewing machinery, plant, and packaging areas.
