Aluminium Fabricator

Job Description
Andrew Vassallo General Trading Ltd in Malta is currently looking for an Aluminium Fabricator to join their team on a full-time basis. 

Job Role:
Fabricating aluminium apertures and structures in an efficient and effective manner in order to reach promised target dates.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that promised target dates for completion are achieved on all jobs
• Special care and focus are expected on sensitive projects such as tenders due to penalties that may be incurred by the company if deadlines and quality standards are not respected
• Ensure that products produced are made of high quality and according to customer requirements and specifications
• Escalate potential issues to management in order to clarify and resolve issues before they become problems
• Follow attentive management instructions and directions at all times
• Handover of job sheets from the team leader regarding jobs to be produced
• Ensure time sheets are being done
• Operating machinery
• Able to do any production processes (cutting, routing, punching, joining, assembling)
• Checking of production is being done according to the job sheet (sketches, drawings, and instructions)
• Maintaining efficient production
• Basic maintenance and repairs on machines
• Escalate any machine-related problems to the team leader
• Record and store maintenance jobs on the maintenance sheet/book accordingly.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience in aluminium works
• Clean driving licence
• Clean police conduct
• Attention to detail.
