Senior Lawyer (In-house)
FM Search Limited in Malta is currently looking for a Senior Lawyer (In-house) to join their client's team on a full-time basis.
About the client:
Our client is a growing licensed E-Money Institution that is looking for a Senior Lawyer to join their Legal and Governance Team in Malta.
Job Role:

Together with the Chief Legal Officer, you will advise the business on regulatory matters, and new product launches/market developments and guide them on the application of international and local laws, drafting contracts and agreements (commercial, employment, IT, etc.), as well as liaise with the Data Protection team on legal aspects related to GDPR and Privacy Controls.
You will gain exposure to broad areas and this role is the perfect example of a truly multi-faceted in-house lawyer (of course, with the necessary external help when needed).

Requirements:
- Qualified Lawyer with a Warrant to practice under Maltese Law
- 2 to 4 years experience, ideally within the financial services Industry (banking, fintech) with practical exposure in contract drafting, corporate governance, and regulatory matters.
