Our client, operating in the insurance and reinsurance field is seeking to recruit a Legal and Compliance Executive. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
Assisting in the reviewing of the company's policies
Participating and assisting in regulatory reporting where required
Assisting in the audits of the insurance intermediaries
Drafting and reviewing third-party agreements and other respective addendums where required
Assisting in the reviewing of new business proposals from a compliance point of view
Supporting the company legally in day-to-day operations
Handling general data protection matters in line with the Company’s policies
Assisting in the analysis and handling of complaints as may be required
Assisting in the reviewing of upcoming changes in the legislation and their impact on the Company
Supporting the Compliance Officer in other ad-hoc duties as may be required from time to time
Skill-sets and Requirements
A minimum of four years working experience in the area of compliance within Financial Services. Candidates with an insurance background will be given preference
Excellent multi-tasker with an ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
Excellent verbal and communication skills
Good analytical skills with an excellent eye for detail
