Lawyer

Our client, a renowned law firm, is seeking to recruit a Lawyer to join their Corporate team. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Carrying out all aspects of company and trust administration for a portfolio of clients
• Preparing documents in relation to transactions, including minutes and resolutions
• Drafting and reviewing corporate governance documents
• Assisting in the formation and restructuring of legal structures
• Conducting legal research as required by the Company's needs
• Drafting and reviewing contracts
• Liaising with clients and other stakeholders
• Attending board meetings and drafting minutes
• Keeping abreast with new regulatory developments in relation to CSPs and Trustees, GDPR and other applicable regulatory obligations
• Any other duties which may be assigned by the Company

• Previous experience within a similar environment will be considered an asset
• Self motivated and ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Fluency both in English and Maltese
• Possess excellent communication skills, good eye for detail and highly organized

• Possession of a law degree and have a warrant to practice in Malta. Candidates who are still in the process of obtaining the warrant will also be considered
