Our client, a renowned law firm, is seeking to recruit a Lawyer to join their Corporate team. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
Carrying out all aspects of company and trust administration for a portfolio of clients
Preparing documents in relation to transactions, including minutes and resolutions
Drafting and reviewing corporate governance documents
Assisting in the formation and restructuring of legal structures
Conducting legal research as required by the Company's needs
Drafting and reviewing contracts
Liaising with clients and other stakeholders
Attending board meetings and drafting minutes
Keeping abreast with new regulatory developments in relation to CSPs and Trustees, GDPR and other applicable regulatory obligations
Any other duties which may be assigned by the Company
Skill-sets and Requirements
Previous experience within a similar environment will be considered an asset
Self motivated and ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Fluency both in English and Maltese
Possess excellent communication skills, good eye for detail and highly organized
Education & Experience
Possession of a law degree and have a warrant to practice in Malta. Candidates who are still in the process of obtaining the warrant will also be considered
