Junior Lawyer (Immigration law)

Imin Malta Limited is looking to recruit a Junior Lawyer (Immigration law) to join their team on a full-time basis. 

IMIN Malta Ltd, working under the trademark of Immigrant Invest, is a Maltese branch of an international company with many years of experience in citizenship/residence by investment programmes in the countries of the European Union and the Caribbean region.

The company acts as an authorised agent of all investment programmes that it offers to its clients. It cooperates with governments of different countries in the field of immigration law. The company has offices in Malta, Austria, Kazakhstan, Cyprus and Portugal

Job description:

• Preparation and filing of the applications for Maltese citizenship and residency under specific laws regulating immigration by direct investment
• Advising clients on Maltese citizenship and residency by investment procedure 
• Conducting enhanced due diligence of every client
• Making legal summaries, affidavits
• Legal examination and assessment of documents
• Conducting personal meetings with clients
• Analysis of legislation in the field of immigration and tax law
• Development of individual solutions for clients
• Interaction with the legal departments of the company and partners
• Participation in seminars and conferences.

Person specification:

• Legal qualification
• Fluent in English and Russian
• Prior experience in the compliance field (CAMS) would be considered an asset.
