A highly reputable client of ours, specialising in the Accounting, Audit and Fiduciary sector is currently looking to inboard a Head of Legal to join their team of professionals:
Duties:
Guide and lead the legal team
Be able to communicate and work with the audit team on matters pertaining to audit clients
Be able to read and understand commercial agreements/contracts
Expected to be aware and knowledgeable of the regulatory environment
Be willing to attend conferences locally and abroad and represent the group, and when necessary make representations
Be able to communicate effectively with both the members of the firm and also its clients (local and foreign)
Skill-sets and Requirements
A sound understanding of the local legislations
Must be an organised, outgoing and assertive individual
Must be PQ'd by the MFSA, or eligible to be
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
Education & Experience
Must be in possession of a Law Degree, and preferably be specialised in Corporate Law
