Our client, a leading private aviation company, is currently looking to recruit a Director of Legal to join their team.
Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate various legal contracts, including and without limitation, vendor agreements, tenders, RFPs, NDAs, SLAs, licencing, and other agreements both in and outside the aviation space
Serve as the Legal team’s subject matter expert for privacy, compliance and risk matters, from AML/CFT to GDPR
Serve as the Human Resource Department’s subject matter expert for employment matters in Malta and the wider European region
Provide accurate, relevant and timely advice to business stakeholders on a wide variety of legal topics and matters
Engage with government agencies and regulators
Prepare reports, memos, and undertake internal investigations
Draft, update, and administer company policies
Undertake training programs
Manage Maltese and European litigation efforts and oversee outside counsel
Oversee and coordinate the efforts of the Malta-based legal team
