Senior Claims Handler

We are currently recruiting a Senior Claims Handler for a well-known international insurance agency.

The responsibilities consist of : 

• Mainly handle Motor claims, but assist in the commercial claims team when necessary
• Act as a reference point for junior claims staff and assist with their training and development
• Gather and process information, as directed, to support the effective assessment of more complex cases
• To attend relevant training as instructed by management in order to keep updated with relevant legislation
•  Provide excellent customer service and encourage others to do likewise
• Be involved on an ad-hoc basis with claims audits and QA management
• Handle a portfolio of recovery files and review files for fraud indicators
• Liaise with other third parties such as lawyers or surveyors
•  Undertake any other task as may reasonable be required by the company.
