Our client, an insurance organisation that offers the full range of insurance, pensions and investment products targeting the local and international market, is currently looking to recruit a Claims Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for overseeing claims for all European Insurance operations, for strategy, policy and procedures, ensuring consistency with European business strategy.
Manage the Claims team across the European Insurance business to ensure uniformity of claims handling.
Provide claims advice on product to support underwriting teams across European business.
Provide technical guidance to the claims teams
Handle major claims falling outside the delegated authority limits, across European operations
Participate in Group Underwriting and Claims Collaboration Forum.
Creation of policy and strategy in claims-related matters consistent with the businesses wider strategy including:
Claims service delivery
Managing downward pressure on claims costs
Accurate and timely reserving
Effective management of supplier relationships
Process efficiency
Understand and anticipate internal and external customer needs and align the claims division to deliver against those requirements
Maintain up-to-date expertise in all fields relevant to policies underwritten by the business
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive - Europe or Senior Management
