Our client is looking to recruit a Talent Manager who has the drive to motivate people to be productive, help them develop and grow, and connect their skills to meaningful work. As the Talent Manager you will be reporting to the Head of HR. The chosen candidate will be responsible for the full cycle recruitment including closing hires and probation reviews.

Responsibilities: 

  • Creating and Reviewing Job Descriptions;
  • Communicating with Hiring Managers and deciding on qualifications and attributes;
  • Creating Job postings (internally & externally) on the companies' social media;
  • Reviewing, analysing and shortlisting;
  • Contacting and scheduling interviews with potential candidates;
  • Leading interviews;
  • Maintaining HRIS (Hiring Section) on BambooHR;
  • Liaising with Dept Managers and inviting candidates for 2nd interviews;
  • Preparing job offers and drafting work agreements;
  • Closing off and liaise with our HR (T&D) Executive to plan on-boarding;
  • Following up with candidates throughout the hiring process;
  • Assisting with the on-boarding process up to the end of the probation period; 
  • Actively participating in special projects as assigned;
  • Compiling data, analyse and create internal recruitment reporting including time-to-hire metrics

Working hours for this role are Monday - Friday normal office hours. An element of flexibility can be offered.

Skill-sets and Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Maltese
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and ideally familiar with application tracking systems
  • Knowledgable of of sourcing techniques on websites like Facebook, GoogleAds and LinkedIn
  • Knowledge of employment law and hiring good practices
  • Must be organised and bale to work well independently and in a team
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills
Education & Experience
  • Working experience in human resources or educational qualification in related field
  • A minimum of two years experience in a fast-paced recruitment environment
