Senior HR and Recruitment Executive

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Senior HR & Recruitment Executive to manage HR functions and ensure the smooth running of the human resources operations. The HR Executive will be responsible for managing recruitment, employee relations, HR records, performance management, compliance, and other administrative duties.

Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding

• Conduct searches on LinkedIn, post job advertisements, screen resumes, and schedule interviews
• Coordinate recruitment efforts with hiring managers
• Conduct reference checks and issue employment contracts
• Facilitate onboarding and induction programs

Employee Relations

• Act as a point of contact for employee queries and grievances
• Support conflict resolution and ensure workplace harmony
• Foster a positive working environment

HR Operations

• Maintain and update employee records (both digital and physical)
• Prepare HR-related letters and documentation (e.g., offer letters, termination letters)
• Manage attendance, leave records, and payroll data coordination

Compliance & Policy Administration

• Ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant with labour laws and regulations
• Assist in audits and other statutory requirements
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee data

Payroll

• Support in the preparation of payroll

Requirements:

• A relevant qualification in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Having 3+ years of experience as an HR Executive or similar role 
• Knowledge of Maltese labour laws and HR best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
