Our client, a leading transport service provider, is recruiting for a Recruitment and Administration Manager to join their growing HR Team. Reporting into the director of HR, your duties will include;
Make recommendations on improving employer branding and promoting the company's reputation as the 'Best place to work.'
To design and implement the overall recruiting strategy;
Oversee the development and updating of job descriptions and specifications;
Ensure new recruits undergo the Company and Departmental Induction process;
Modifying current recruitment methods and applying HR recruiting best practices;
To serve as a point of contact and foster connections with key candidates during the hiring process;
Bridge management and employee relations by addressing issues such as dispute resolutions, grievances, absences, retirement, and redundancy;
Coordinating with Department Managers to forecast future hiring needs;
Develop the organisation's professional network by establishing partnerships with HR professionals, colleagues, and other partners;
To provide analytical and well-documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team;
Develop HR policies and procedures;
Ensure compliance with HR Laws and Collective Agreement;
Coordinate and supervise the work of the HR Recruitment and Administration Team;
Oversee all work permit processes related to foreign national employees;
Carry out any other duties according to the exigencies directed by the Human Resources Director and Management, including special Projects and reporting.
Skill-sets and Requirements
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal – Maltese and English
Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress)
Ability to organise skills assessments (activities, work samples, psychometric and IQ/EQ tests)
Excellent administrative skills
Problem Solving Skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Strong decision-making skills as well as high level of confidentiality, tact and diplomacy
Education & Experience
Tertiary education with a degree in Human Resources or Psychology
In-depth knowledge of Employment Law and HR best practices
Minimum of 3 years experience in Human Resources in a senior role
