Job Responsibilities and Duties
  • Manage monthly payroll processing and issue payslips using payroll software;
  • Maintain accurate payroll records by updating and managing the employee database;
  • Process and record payroll expenses in the accounting system;
  • Track and update leave records, including sick leave and other employee-related reports;
  • Verify and input timesheets to ensure accuracy;
  • Prepare payroll reports for internal use and management review;
  • Collaborate closely with the HR Team and Head of Accounts across business units;
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, policies, and agreements while maintaining accurate records;
  • Stay up to date with the Wholesale and Retail Wage Regulation Order and other relevant legal requirements;
  • Administer and monitor the electronic timekeeping system for all business units;
  • Generate detailed reports for management and decision-making purposes;
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required payroll documentation efficiently;
  • Contribute to the achievement of HR payroll objectives, as guided by the Group Human Resources Manager;
  • Prepare payroll-related reports and analysis as requested by management;
  • Stay informed on payroll regulations and best practices by attending workshops, reviewing employment laws, and building external professional networks;
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold payroll security standards to protect employee information;
  • Carry out additional payroll and HR-related duties as assigned by management.
Experience
  • Strong proficiency in payroll software, particularly Shireburn Indigo;
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
