One of our clients within the corporate service sector is looking to recruit a keen and enthusiastic individual to join their growing team as a Payroll Executive
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Take care of a portfolio of clients, for which to prepare and execute payroll
Calculate and determine taxes and social security contributions, liaising with the TAX department as necessary
Ensure that payroll policies are compliant with relevant law
Assist in GDPR matters pertaining to payroll-related matters
Carry out KYC and due diligence checks for clients
Perform the distribution of wages through the issuance of cheques or direct transfers to employees’ bank accounts
Assist clients with the onboarding and offboarding process of their employees including submission of employee information to JobsPlus
Ensure that client employee records are kept up to date and in line with employment and data protection regulations
Ensure to keep proper filing of documentation
Skill-sets and Requirements
A minimum of 2 years' experience working in payroll
Knowledge of Maltese Employment law and HR systems such as BambooHR, Indigo and the like
Excellent interpersonal skills with which to provide clients with a service of utmost professionalism
Excellent command of the English language
Ability to work independently and take own initiative
Being a good team player
Having a strong ability to priorities between clients according to their needs
Education & Experience
Holders of Payroll and/or HR-related qualifications will be given preference
