Officer (Human Resources)

Simonds Farsons Cisk Plc in Malta is currently looking to recruit an Officer (Human Resources) to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
A vacancy has arisen for the post of Officer within the HR team of Simonds Farsons Cisk plc.  Reporting to the HR Systems Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for processing payroll smoothly, efficiently and accurately. S/he will maintain the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) up to date in line with the company's organisational structure and procedures and assist in the preparation of specific reports for key performance indicators as required.

Main Duties will include:

• Entering  data for new employees in the company's HRIS and payroll system
• Collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information
• Overviewing the time and attendance and clocking data and supporting departments in the daily upkeep of time and attendance
• Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently and on time within the company schedules
• Resolving payroll discrepancies
• Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures and assisting audit processes as required
• Reporting on payroll expenses, compensation, benefits, insurance deductions and taxes
• Supporting the administration of Absence management as per company policy
• Assisting in any HR Services initiative, incentive schemes and other HR-related projects.

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

• Have a minimum A Level standard of education  and/or Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent
• Have good and fluent writing skills in English and Maltese
• Preferably have a minimum of 3 years of working experience in a payroll environment
• Be an effective communicator
• Be confident working with ICT systems
• Possess good organisational skills.
