Our client is looking to employ a Learning & Development Specialist to join their growing team. Your responsibilities will include the following:
Assisting the HR Business Partner and to act as a point of reference/adviser to employees and management all HR activities including Data Management, Promotions and Progressions, Resourcing, Assessment & Selection, Learning & Development and Change Management
Understanding the organisation's mandatory training requirement and be accountable for the organisation and coordination of the delivery of mandatory training programme
Working with the HRBP to identify learning and development needs and recommend L&D solutions
Supporting the HRBP in communication with internal and external experts to deliver L&D solutions throughout the organisation and in designing L&D and team building initiatives for employees working across the organisation
Delivering and facilitating Learning and Development and Team Building initiatives to employees working across the organisation
Being accountable for communication with managers and employees with regards to training programmes and other L&D initiatives
Coordinating with the rest of the team and other departments the L&D initiatives and logistics, including the preparation of L&D material, facilities, equipment and refreshments and ensuring the smooth running of programmes
Receiving feedback about the L&D initiatives and record, report and improve the aforementioned initiatives
Ensuring the continuity of the service of the HR department and contributing the improvements of the service through suggesting ways if improvement in all areas and Human Resources
Keeping up with HR Administrative duties including employee records & learning and development initiative records and to submit L&D initiative reports to the HRBP periodically
Being involved in the development of Standard Operating Procedures
Any other HR related duties as may be required time to time
Working hours are from Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:00
Skill-sets and Requirements
Knowledge of employment law and GDPR would be considered an asset
Strong communication skills in both English & Maltese
Computer literate
People oriented with an aptitude to learn
Education & Experience
MQF Level 5 or higher in a related field
A minimum of 1 year experience in a Human Resources Administrative position
