Centrecom Limited in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Junior Assistant (Recruitment) to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview:

Our Recruitment team is currently looking for an Assistant to assist in the daily office duties related to recruitment. The ideal candidate will also be trained in the whole recruitment process and will eventually be part of the hiring team.

This position is not a Summer Job, the contract is on full-time Indefinite basis.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Senior Recruitment Executive, the Junior Recruitment Assistant is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day duties and supporting the recruitment process such as screen, selecting and onboarding suitable personnel to fill our job openings.

Responsibilities:

  • Participating in recruitment efforts and effectively filling any open positions
  • Screen candidate’s resumes and job applications
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
  • Ensuring background and reference checks are completed upon recruitment
  • Prepare new employee files and any other onboarding documentation
  • Any other tasks as delegated by management.  

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills and good interpersonal skills
  • Quick thinker and able to make prompt decisions when needed
  • A good team player – target-driven and ready to work in a very fast-paced environment
  • Flexible to work on a shift basis Monday to Saturday between 0800-1900
  • Proficiency in both Maltese and English is mandatory (spoken and written)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, such as Word, Excel etc
