Human Resources Manager

Job Description
Michele Peresso Group Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a Human Resources Manager to join their team on a full-time basis. 

Michele Peresso Group of Companies is mainly active in the retail market and the Group has been at the forefront to attain new challenges, focusing on further investments and giving rise to new initiatives through its companies Eurosport Ltd., Michele Peresso Fashion Ltd., and Europharma Ltd.

Reporting to the Directors, the Human Resources Manager shall be responsible for:

• Leading the HR function of the Group;
• The overall provisions of HR services and implementation of HR policies;
• The full recruitment cycle, from designing effective advertisements to shortlisting, interviewing, and recruiting candidates;
• Overseeing the Group’s training programme;
• Promoting a culture that supports the personal and professional development of employees;
• Organising events, initiatives, and other well-being activities;
• The performance management cycle;
• Duties shall also include policy development and documentation, health & safety projects, HR administration and any other duties related to the Group’s personnel.

The ideal candidate should:

• Have a least 3 years of experience in a managerial position within an HR-related field;
• Possess relevant qualifications and be knowledgeable on local employment law;
• Be meticulous, motivated, efficient and reliable;
• Have strong communication skills;
• Have good judgement and exercise the utmost discretion with confidential and sensitive information, and;
• Have a growth mindset, and have a passion for positively influencing the team and people around them.
