A new Human Resources Business Partner role is now available within the manufacturing industry. Whilst working closely with the HR Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Implementing policies and procedures, updating official company documents and maintaining appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of HR development
- Assisting departmental managers with employee relations and well being matters
- Negotiating with Unions in relation to the Collective Agreement and other ad-hoc matters
- Monitoring, measuring and updating the Performance Management system to promote career development within the company
- Leading the recruitment and selection process, including work permit applications
- Analyse salaries within the market and determine a competitive compensation plan
- Liaise closely with the Management Team to ensure the right awareness and support is provided for all team members
- Manage and control department budgets and assist with handling time and attendance records
Education and Experience
- Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working within an HR capacity, ideally within the manufacturing industry
- Excellent knowledge of Maltese Legislation and Employment Law
- Experience working within a unionised environment
- Excellent skills in both written and spoken English and Maltese
- Knowledge of the Dakar payroll system will be considered an asset
