A new Human Resources Business Partner role is now available within the manufacturing industry. Whilst working closely with the HR Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing policies and procedures, updating official company documents and maintaining appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of HR development
  • Assisting departmental managers with employee relations and well being matters
  • Negotiating with Unions in relation to the Collective Agreement and other ad-hoc matters
  • Monitoring, measuring and updating the Performance Management system to promote career development within the company
  • Leading the recruitment and selection process, including work permit applications
  • Analyse salaries within the market and determine a competitive compensation plan
  • Liaise closely with the Management Team to ensure the right awareness and support is provided for all team members
  • Manage and control department budgets and assist with handling time and attendance records 

Education and Experience

  • Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working within an HR capacity, ideally within the manufacturing industry 
  • Excellent knowledge of Maltese Legislation and Employment Law
  • Experience working within a unionised environment
  • Excellent skills in both written and spoken English and Maltese
  • Knowledge of the Dakar payroll system will be considered an asset
