Our client is looking to employ a Human Resources and Administrator Officer
Your responsibilities include but not limited to:
Handling all aspects pertaining to recruitment functions: from updating/creating job description; shortlisting cvs; holding interviews to handing offers/rejections letters
Collect documents from employees as per standard checklist
Conduct probation or other one to one interviews pre-probation stage and communicate actions to be taken to the line manager
Holding induction sessions / deliver presentations to staff (domiciled locally or in foreign offices) or any other audience as per deemed necessary
Ensure resignation letters are received for employees who intend to leave
Conduct exit interviews
Update and/or create job descriptions
Gather and submit visa and work permits/renewals documentation for foreign employees
Resolving disputes between employees in the workplace
Issue employee contracts
Guide staff members on admin and HR procedures
Perform any other duties which may be assigned from time to time
Skill-sets and Requirements
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with a confident and positive personality.
Having attention to detail, problem solving skills and service orientation would be considered a plus point
Have strong organisational and time management skills, able to prioritise across different tasks and meet deadlines as per business objectives
IT proficiency: good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as ability to understand data and produce reports
Fluency in written and spoken Maltese and English
Education & Experience
Be in possession of a University degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Psychology or a relevant field
Hold two years’ experience in an HR role, preferably within IT industry
Conversant with Maltese Employment Law and other regulations
