Feelings Enterprises Limited in Malta is currently looking to recruit an HR & Payroll Manager to join their team on a full-time basis.

Objective:
To provide strategic and operational Human Resources, Payroll and Health & Safety services to the company. 
Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Strategy
    • To advise and support the Company to achieve and maintain compliance with legal and regulatory obligations
    • Develop and maintain company policies and procedures
    • Develop and support management/employee consultation processes
    • Manage pay and benefits structure
    • Ensuring pay is aligned to market conditions.
 
  • HR Operational
    • To provide support service for all employment matters
    • To manage the recruitment process of all group companies
    • Provide an HR service of advice and training to managers and employees
    • Facilitate our managers to manage performance
    • Ensuring job descriptions for all positions within the company are relevant to the needs of the company
    • Ensure all employees receive a contract of employment within the required timeframes and that these are in line with legislative requirements
    • Collate staff insight through employee surveys, discussions and meetings
    • Plan and implement suggested improvements where possible
    • Advise and support managers with employee relations issues including performance management, disciplinary and grievance
    • Ensuring the highest standards of payroll administration
    • Maintain all documentation relating to equality marks
    • Provide a reporting, monitoring and reporting process for key employment issues
    • Ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act in relation to employee records.

 

  • Management of Payroll accounting and processing
    • Support the processing of monthly payroll, including new starters, leavers, timesheets, calculating pay, including jobs plus submissions
    • Support the provision of Payroll related reporting
    • Ensure the management of all types of leave e.g. holiday, sick, maternity, etc.
    • Manage Collective Agreement
    • Ensure correct processing of 3rd country nationals' work permit applications and renewals.

 

  • Health and Safety
    • Provide advice and support to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
    • To provide recording, monitoring and reporting for all relevant H&S issues.


Qualifications/Experience:

  • Ideally an HR Management qualification at level 5 or above
  • 3 years experience in HR management
  • Sound knowledge of employment law and practical application of Payroll
  • Excellent Excel and Word skills.
