Our client, an International Energy company, is currently looking to recruit a full-time HR Manager to take full control of the company HR function.      

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Design compensation and benefits packages
  • Design and maintain HR policy and procedures, ensuring compliance by employees
  • Act as point of contact for recruitment; liaising with recruitment consultancies; placing adverts, and filtering applications
  • Work with Hiring Managers to establish set job descriptions
  • Liaise with Hiring Managers in various departments, scheduling and assisting with interviews whilst implementing effecting screening techniques
  • Manage employee training needs, coordinating training initiatives where required
  • Act as point of contact for labor legislation issues
  • Liaise with authorities to manage work permit processes and applications where required
  • Maintain data and ensure employee documentation is updated regularly
  • Prepare letters of promotion, appointments renewals of contracts, etc
  • Manage employees’ grievances
  • Measure employee retention and turnover rates
  • Collating and preparing payroll data on a weekly basis or monthly basis

Requirements: 
  • The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and experience running HR in Malta.
