HR Lead

Our client, is looking to recruit an HR Lead to build the HR department. Reporting directly to the Director, the chosen candidate with:

• Collaborate with management to identify organizational needs and attract top talent.
• Develop and lead creative recruitment strategies that align with company values and operational requirements.
• Onboarding & Culture Integration
• Coordinate comprehensive employee onboarding to immerse new hires in the company’s unique culture and values.
• Partner with the CEO and senior leaders to establish and maintain KPIs, organizational structure, and strategic HR initiatives.
• HR Policies & Training
• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices tailored to the events industry.
• Design and deliver internal training sessions on HR-related topics to support employee development.
• Employee Relations & Wellbeing
• Address employee inquiries and concerns, fostering a harmonious and inclusive work environment.
• Collaborate with the Brand & Culture Coordinator to execute employee wellbeing initiatives, including benefits programs and team-building activities.
• Payroll & Compliance
• Partner with the Finance team to manage payroll-related tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain accurate HR records, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, GDPR, and industry standards.
• Industry Awareness & Continuous Improvement
• Stay informed about industry trends and legal requirements to ensure HR practices remain current and effective.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across departments.

• Qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field will be given preference
• 4 - 5 years of HR experience
• Knowledge of payroll, employment laws and regulations will be considered an asset
