Our client, is looking to recruit an HR Lead to build the HR department. Reporting directly to the Director, the chosen candidate with:
Collaborate with management to identify organizational needs and attract top talent.
Develop and lead creative recruitment strategies that align with company values and operational requirements.
Onboarding & Culture Integration
Coordinate comprehensive employee onboarding to immerse new hires in the company’s unique culture and values.
Partner with the CEO and senior leaders to establish and maintain KPIs, organizational structure, and strategic HR initiatives.
HR Policies & Training
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices tailored to the events industry.
Design and deliver internal training sessions on HR-related topics to support employee development.
Employee Relations & Wellbeing
Address employee inquiries and concerns, fostering a harmonious and inclusive work environment.
Collaborate with the Brand & Culture Coordinator to execute employee wellbeing initiatives, including benefits programs and team-building activities.
Payroll & Compliance
Partner with the Finance team to manage payroll-related tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Maintain accurate HR records, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, GDPR, and industry standards.
Industry Awareness & Continuous Improvement
Stay informed about industry trends and legal requirements to ensure HR practices remain current and effective.
Requirements
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across departments.

Education and Experience
Qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field will be given preference
4 - 5 years of HR experience
Knowledge of payroll, employment laws and regulations will be considered an asset
