Our client, a leading food production company, is looking to extend their HR function and are looking for an HR Business Partner. Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Executive will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract and maintain a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the group.

Recruitment and Onboarding

  • Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline
  • Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing phone screenings where necessary
  • Take ownership of candidate experience by putting forward / taking ownership including suggestions for design and managing it
  • Manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process
  • Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations
  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process and onboarding.
  • Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, chiefs, and other stakeholders.
  • Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.


Budget, Compensation and Benefits

  • In partnership with the HR Manager, support in the planning and management of budgets, including preparation of annual Recruitment budget plan. 
  • Support on yearly manpower cost budgeting, maintaining records and letter distribution.
  • Maintains knowledge of economic conditions, labour market, and other factors related to ensuring the organisation provides competitive and reasonable benefits and compensation scales and structures.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, developments, and best practices in compensation and benefits administration.

Change Management

  • Works closely with the HR Manager to implement, maintain and coordinate change management efforts to support the company in reaching its future goals and potential.

Skill-sets and Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of HR Processes and Policies
  • Solid knowledge of employment legislation and Industrial relations
  • Knowledge of office software
  • Previous recruitment/talent management experience
  • Analytical thinking, problem solving, results driven
  • Influencing and impact, including conflict management
  • Relationship building
Education & Experience
  • Ideally holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Psychology or other related course of studies
  • +3years’ experience in a similar position preferably in the FMCG/manufacturing sector
