Our client who specializes in the aviation industry is currently looking for a motivated HR Administrator to join their expanded team. Your role and responsibilities will include:
Ensure employee records are accurately maintained and updated within the HR system
Provide support in processing monthly payroll activities
Assist in the implementation and migration to a new payroll system
Prepare and file necessary documentation with Jobsplus and the Commissioner for Revenue
Oversee the application and renewal process for work permits of Third Country Nationals
Manage employee health insurance, including handling claims and ensuring follow-ups are completed
Handle the administration of the company’s property insurance, including claims tracking and resolution
Organize and coordinate internal office and staff-related events
Perform routine bookkeeping and financial tasks
Take on additional duties as requested by management
Requirements
Exceptional organizational abilities with a sharp eye for detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a strong motivational attitude
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
Capable of managing deadlines and thriving in a self-directed work environment
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion
Familiarity with SAGE or similar accounting software is considered an asset
Education and Experience
Must possess a solid understanding of employment laws and regulations in Malta
At least 1 year of proven experience in an HR administrative or equivalent role
