A reputable Group of Companies is looking to fill a Head of Human Resources position.  The successful candidate will be reporting to the CEO whilst offering professional HR support, organisational development, driving the vision and performance enhancement of the company, developing HR strategies and other related business plans and objectives aligned within the field of HR.

The duties here include;

  • Assume overall responsibility for the development and implementation of the Group’s HR strategies, contributing to and aligned with the Group’s vision and annual business plans
  • Support the HR strategy with the design and implementation of appropriate structures, policies, procedures and initiatives
  • Plan, develop, establish, implement and manage the HR function and budgets aligned to the Group’s objectives towards s/he also contributes, driving for the attainment of set targets
  • Lead, manage and motivate the HR team, delegating and assigning responsibilities to ensure that the HR function operates smoothly, proactively and efficiently within agreed budgets
  • Be accountable for the Group’s industrial relations and negotiations, also providing operational support to management on industrial and employee relations matters to ensure high standards are met and Group performance is not jeopardized
  • Lead employer branding efforts and actively participate in fora to strengthen the Group’s long-standing reputation
  • Design and implement effective and innovative structures and schemes for the attraction and retention of talent
  • Keep updated with emerging legislation, trends, styles and techniques in HRM aimed at adopting and implementing appropriate value adding change initiatives within the Group and acting as transformation agent wherever necessary
  • Drive the Group’s HRIS to ensure that its agreed objectives are met, and that timely information and reporting are achieved to support decision-making processes
  • Provide support to Management as may be required and ensure that the Group’s culture and strong values are enhanced and embedded within the organization
