As an Employee Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for leading and supporting initiatives to drive and enhance the employee experience.

You will play a key role in shaping our workplace culture and driving initiatives to enhance employee well-being and engagement.

You will be creative, have excellent interpersonal skills and employ a dynamic approach to curating and strategically managing a full calendar of engagement events, including charitable endeavours, competitions, attraction initiatives and health and wellbeing promotion.

Leading a small team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engagement plans as well as measuring success and responsiveness to activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar role with a genuine interest in overall engagement, recognition and a desire to expand their understanding of and involvement with the wider business.

Preferred Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar role is a must.
  • Strong influencing skills to drive positive change and inspire action.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate employees at all levels.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for developing innovative solutions to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills to confidently lead meetings and drive productive discussions.
  • Well-organised and skilled in effective time management, people management, coaching and delegation.
  • Ability to think strategically and identify ways to improve communication and colleague engagement.
  • Ability to manage multiple streams of activity, shifting focus regularly to ensure that objectives and deadlines are met.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Delivering a wide array of projects on time and to a high standard.
  • Ensuring strong stakeholder management with other departments within, and external to, the Operation as well as Senior Management.
  • Producing site content and a newsletter to promote and raise awareness of staff values and events.
  • Managing an engagement calendar, marking notable dates and occasions with appropriate content delivery.
  • Leading and supporting engagement activities that support key values such as health and wellbeing.
  • Gathering data and using analytical skills to produce insightful reflection on engagement success and using this to drive better results.
  • Developing and motivating a team so that departmental and individual performance is of the highest quality.
