Waiter / Waitress Part-time / Full-time

Job Description
Coast Restaurant in Malta is looking to recruit a Waiter / Waitress to join their team at Coast Restaurant in Wied Iz-Zurrieq on a full/part-time basis. The ideal candidate should be reliable and outgoing, with excellent customer service and communication skills.  This is not a seasonal position, this is a year-round job with lunch and dinner shifts including evenings and weekends.

*Due to very challenging times, work permits are not being issued to third-country nationals, therefore, candidates applying MUST have a valid work permit. 

Requirements: 

• Candidates with work experience in food & beverage service, together with related qualifications will be given priority;
• Fluency in English is necessary, while knowledge of different languages will be considered an asset;
• Own transport is ESSENTIAL due to remote location;
• Only applicants who are residents in Malta will be considered.

Job description: 

• Greeting and seating guests;
• Presentation of menus and explanations of daily specials, fresh fish, food preparation;
• Taking of drinks orders;
• Preparation of drinks and wine service;
• Cutlery and condiment preparation ;
• Food service and table clearing;
• Bill presentation and cash handling;
• Station preparation;
• Washing and polishing of glassware and cutlery;
• Cleaning and table setting;
• Stocking of bar and fridges;
• Any other tasks as required. 

Other information: 

• Part-time and full-time hours are available for lunch or dinner shifts including weekends. 
• Salary offered from €6 to €8 per hour.
