Join our culinary team at Paradise Bay Hotel Ltd., one of Malta’s most scenic and vibrant resorts, where excellence and hospitality meet. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to support our Head Chef in delivering top-tier dining experiences.

About the Role:

As Sous Chef, you will play a key role in ensuring culinary excellence across all aspects of food preparation and service. You’ll support the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, leading the team, maintaining food quality, and upholding the highest standards in hygiene and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the preparation and presentation of dishes to ensure quality and consistency
  • Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations and ensure timely service delivery
  • Monitor inventory, stock levels, and liaise with suppliers for timely restocking
  • Ensure all incoming ingredients meet quality standards and order specifications
  • Manage proper storage and disposal of perishable goods
  • Enforce food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness protocols throughout the kitchen
  • Mentor and train kitchen staff, encouraging teamwork and professional growth
  • Assist in menu planning and food cost control
  • Troubleshoot kitchen issues and maintain smooth operations under pressure
