Our client, operating in the catering industry, is looking for a Sous Chef for a newly opened Italian Cuisine Restaurant. Reporting to the Head Chef, your responsibilities will include:
Ability to prepare, cook and serve items under the direction of the Head Chef.
Ensure that all ingredients needed to cook and serve dishes are always readily available through proper purchasing and stock management systems.
Must follow recipes and instructions always given by the chef.
Must always maintain and clean and organised section and kitchen during preparation and service.
Must follow all healthy and safety systems and procedures in accordance with company policies.
Skill-sets and Requirements
Excellent level of English
Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
Flexibility in working hours including split shifts, evenings, weekend, and holidays with the work week being based on 6 days.
Education & Experience
A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role / outlet is a must
Completed course at ITS related to Culinary studies is seen as a must
