DoubleTree by Hilton Malta is looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing, and dynamic individual Restaurant Manager.
As our manager, you'll take the lead in the day-to-day running of the daily operations. You'll set the tone for the guest experience—making sure everything runs smoothly, the team is working together seamlessly, and every guest leave feeling well looked after.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Act as the primary point of contact for guests.
- Interact with guests in an engaging, friendly, and approachable manner, creating memorable experiences.
- Proactively anticipate guest needs, exceed expectations, and ensure satisfaction at all times.
- Manage daily operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality service across all areas.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and functionality to the highest standards.
- Lead, train, and inspire your team to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
- Develop and maintain a compelling wine list to complement the restaurant’s offerings.
- Oversee events, transforming the restaurant into a banqueting venue for special occasions.
- Coordinate with the Kitchen and events team to ensure seamless service and memorable experiences.
- Manage all event details, from preparation to execution and breakdown, with precision and care.
- Lead and manage a team of F&D Attendants, fostering a positive and productive environment.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance service standards, wine knowledge, and safety practices.
- Schedule staff, monitor performance, and address personnel matters with professionalism and tact.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a leader with a passion for excellence, creativity, and guest satisfaction. Ideal candidates will bring:
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and inventory management.
- Experience managing events and adapting venues for banqueting services is considered an asset.
- A warm, approachable personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work well under pressure, especially during peak service times and events.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
