The Corinthia Peninsula at St George’s Bay in Malta is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and organized Reservations Agent to join their Central Reservations Office on a full-time basis.
The candidate will be responsible for:
Communicating efficiently with customers, offering prompt, friendly, and courteous service at all times
Answering calls and assisting customers in various room reservation queries, and bookings, offering adequate accommodation options, and information on hotels facilities, and being able to conclude a sale
Offers a high level of service to enhance guests’ experience
Processing incoming reservation e-mail requests and recording all booking details, amendments, and cancellations accurately
Communicates effectively with all the departments
Ensuring internal procedures are constantly being followed in accordance with the company’s standards.
The ideal candidate requires to be:
Logical, attentive, accurate, and able to multi-task
Well-organized and possess time management skills
Self-motivated, able to work under pressure, and adhere to deadlines
Sales-oriented and customer focused
Able to work in a dynamic environment
Have excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills
Portray a professional image commensurate with the values of the Company
Fluent in spoken and written English and another European language
Computer proficient in word, excel, and Opera reservations system
Knowledgeable of Online Bookings, Tour Operators, and Corporate reservations handling
Able to work flexible hours
