Receptionist Manager

Our client is looking to recruit a Receptionist Manager to join their growing team. The chosen candidate will report to the General Manager and will:

• Oversee and operate 24hr reception to hotel standards.
• Ensure timely check-in readiness of rooms and setup of meeting spaces in coordination with Housekeeping and F&B.
• Supervise the Housekeeping team during the Head Housekeeper's leave, including room checks.
• Maintain cleanliness of reception and back office; monitor public area ambiance (heating, lighting, music/TV).
• Lead group check-ins/outs and resolve guest complaints professionally, recording them in the handover log.
• Review and act on daily handovers; ensure accurate logging and follow-through.
• Audit, input, and manage reservations in PMS; monitor arrivals and maintain stock levels within budget.
• Follow strict cash handling, balancing, and banking procedures; audit end-of-day financials.
• Drive upselling and referral of sales leads; encourage team sales focus.
• Support staff development, shift organization, punctuality, and communication.
• Lead daily briefings, training, and performance reviews.
• Ensure the team adheres to grooming, uniform, and attendance standards.
• Be cross-trained and assist in Housekeeping, Maintenance, and F&B when needed.
• Enforce fire safety and health & safety policies, including training, compliance checks, and documentation.
• Comply with all hotel policies, including Fire, Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, and Security.
