Job Title: Pool Attendant Team Leader
Reports To: Recreation/Facilities Manager
Job Summary:
The Pool Attendant Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pool area, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all guests. This role involves supervising the pool attendant team, enforcing pool policies, and providing exceptional guest service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise, mentor, and support the pool attendant team to ensure high standards of service and safety.
• Ensure all pool rules and facility policies are clearly communicated and consistently enforced.
• Act as a primary point of contact for guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback; resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Monitor cleanliness and maintenance of the pool area, including deck, furniture, and restrooms; report issues to maintenance as needed.
• Coordinate staff schedules and breaks to ensure appropriate coverage at all times.
• Conduct regular inspections of pool facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with training and onboarding of new team members.
• Lead by example with a professional attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in a pool attendant or supervisory role preferred.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of pool safety protocols and guest service best practices.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
