Responsibilities

1. Preparation & Cooking:

o Prepare, cook, and present high-quality pasta dishes.

o Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation.

o Experiment with new recipes and improve existing ones.

2. Ingredient Management:

o Make fresh pasta from scratch (if required).

o Select, store, and handle ingredients properly.

o Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers.

3. Kitchen Operations:

o Maintain a clean and organized workstation.

o Follow hygiene and food safety regulations.

o Work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.

4. Teamwork & Communication:

o Coordinate with other kitchen staff for smooth service.

o Train and mentor junior chefs or kitchen assistants.

o Communicate effectively with the head chef and service staff.

5. Quality Control & Innovation:

o Ensure customer satisfaction with quality and timely preparation.

o Innovate and introduce new pasta dishes based on customer preferences.

Requirements:

1. Experience & Skills:

o Proven experience as a pasta chef or in a similar role.

o Expertise in making and cooking fresh pasta.

o Knowledge of Italian cuisine and pasta varieties.

2. Education & Certification:

o Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.

o Food safety and hygiene certification is a plus.

3. Key Attributes:

o Passion for cooking and attention to detail.

o Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.

o Strong teamwork and time management skills.
