SMS Group Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit an Operations Coordinator to join their team on a full-time basis.
He/she will be responsible for the following tasks amongst other day-to-day duties:
Overseeing and coordinating actions that form an integral part of turnaround operations at various ports;
Managing all transfers for embarking and disembarking cruise line passengers;
Ensuring that all designated services are booked in line with incoming requests whilst confirming that clients do attend such services as per bookings placed;
Maintaining records up to date at all times, thus providing certainty and peace of mind during the execution of port turnarounds;
Adhering to internal policies implemented at the Group level whilst also observing policies and procedures at an operational level depending on the specific turnaround;
Ensuring that any specific requests communicated by the ship and/or its guests are seen to and serviced in a courteous and efficient manner.
Ideally, applicants will:
Have an educational background at A' level standard or equivalent;
Be able to communicate (written and verbal) in English, Maltese, and ideally Italian;
Have excellent reading and comprehension skills whilst being confident when dealing with numbers;
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.; ideally holding certification at ECDL level.
Be able to express thoughts clearly in writing, maintaining a concise but courteous style;
Have the ability to think critically within a high-pressure environment;
Exercise clear judgment and operate with minimal supervision.
