Lido Supervisor

Job Description
Corinthia Hotel St. George’s Bay in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Lido Supervisor to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
The Supervisor will assist the Lido Manager in the daily operations, training of fellow colleagues and some administration duties. She/he will be responsible for direct supervision of the Lido area, this position calls for an outgoing individual having a very positive attitude and excellent organizational and communication skills.

The candidate will be responsible for:

• Assisting in tracking attendance, balancing cash drawer & make deposits as directed
• Assisting the Lido Manager in the daily operations, colleagues training and SOPs
• Confidently dealing with guest concerns with the ability to resolve problems, showing empathy and understanding
• Reacting to guest feedback to respond quickly to address areas for improvement
• Maintaining discipline at the lido and supervising all staff enforcing policies
• Achieving and exceeding targets and key performance indicators
• Responsible for staff punctuality and grooming
• Be accountable for the cleanliness of the whole Lido area including cloakrooms
• Other duties as required.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Fluency in English and another European language
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the Micros system
• Hold that flair with all the customers leading towards a memorable experience
• Be willing to work flexible hours which may include evenings and weekends.
