We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our kitchen team as a Kitchen Porter (Dishwasher).
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes and utensils are properly washed and sanitised.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitise all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dishwashing area.
- Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Support kitchen staff with the delivery and storage of food supplies.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the kitchen manager.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or similar role is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.
