The Xara Collection in Malta is currently looking to recruit Kitchen Porters to join their team on a full/part-time basis.

Job Role:
The group’s diversified portfolio comprises the award-winning fine dining de Mondion perched on Mdina’s bastions, the cosy al fresco Trattoria located in the palace’s courtyard but as well, catering services, and the Xara Lodge, an events centre just outside Mdina. Responsibilities:

• All our outlets are individual in their own way, just like our team.
• You’ll provide and support an outside dining experience, ensuring service, quality, and consistency, within a clean and safe environment for all.
• You will ensure all Kitchen equipment and utensils are clean and stored correctly and always deliver the highest of food safety standards.
• With a strong focus on sustainability and a zero-waste approach in the kitchen, the Xara Collection is a place where the whole team works together to provide a memorable dining experience to our guests.

Requirements:

• As our ideal candidate, you will be a team player and have the ability to work under pressure
• You have good communication and motivational skills
• Flexibility with regard to working hours, to meet the demands of both the business and the team
• Ability to demonstrate flexibility and operate in a changeable environment.
