Kitchen Helper (Gozo Based)

One of our clients within the hospitality is looking for a Kitchen Helper to support their culinary team. 

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assist with basic food preparation tasks (washing, peeling, chopping ingredients) under chef supervision;
• Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, equipment, and kitchen surfaces;
• Receive and store deliveries;
• Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations at all times;

Requirements

• Hands-on attitude, keen to learn kitchen operations, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene principles
• Team-player mindset with a positive, proactive attitude
• SkillPass is required for TCNs
• Willing to work on roster basis Monday to Sunday and public holidays
• Currently residing in Gozo or willing to relocate from Malta;

Education and Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role is required
