We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Housekeeping Shift Leader to join our team in Mellieha on a full-time basis. The selected candidate will support the housekeeping leadership team in upholding exceptional cleanliness standards and ensuring an outstanding guest experience from day one.

Job Role

Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisors, the Housekeeping Junior Shift-Leader is responsible for the overseeing overall cleanliness and appearance of the Hotel. This role involves assisting the Housekeeping Manager in the managing of the housekeeping team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and maintenance, and working hand in hand in achieving efficient housekeeping operations to enhance guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily housekeeping operations and ensure compliance with standards and procedures.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, including Room & Public Area Attendants.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance.
• Train and evaluate Housekeeping Team.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
• Communicate effectively with the Team and Guests.
• Any other duties commensurate to the role.
