Malta Marriott Hotel and Spa is currently looking to recruit potential individuals to extend their Housekeeping Team on a full/part-time basis.
Available vacancies:
Linen Keeper;
Public Area Cleaner;
Room Attendant.
Linen Keeper:
The candidate shall maintain and control all hotel linen in good condition, and provide all departments with prompt, efficient, trouble-free service in accordance with the standards of Marriott.
The selected candidate must:
Ensure that all Hotel linen is kept in good condition, handle all guest laundry and dry cleaning requests, take responsibility for the distribution of uniforms to staff, issuing replacements, repairs, and maintaining all stock levels;
Ensure maximum cleaning effectiveness by sorting and recording all linen after collection according to fabric type, colour, item, or soil concentration;
Remove damaged and/or stained linen records items as well as liaising with outside laundry regarding control;
Ensure all paperwork is accurately and correctly completed and filed;
Handle all requests for items which require in house washing or pressing.
Public Area Attendant:
The candidate shall maintain a high standard of cleanliness within the areas assigned to the attendant whilst following company health and safety processes and cleaning standards.
The selected candidate must:
Retain a high level of responsibility for the assigned area in line with international cleaning standards;
Take responsibility for personal cleaning equipment and supporting areas, to include trolleys, cleaning products and landings;
Interact with guest and associates in a friendly and respectful manner.
Room Attendant:
The candidate shall maximize customer satisfaction by providing neat and clean rooms in accordance with the standards of Marriott.
The selected candidate must:
Perform routine duties in cleaning and servicing of guest rooms;
Retain a high level of responsibility for the assigned rooms in line with international cleaning standards;
Interact with the guest using clear communication skills.
