Hotel Reservations Executive

The Reservations Executive is responsible for handling all reservation inquiries and bookings in a timely, accurate, and professional manner. This role ensures optimal room occupancy and contributes directly to the hotel’s revenue by managing room inventory, maximising yield, and providing outstanding service to guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all incoming reservation inquiries (phone, email, online platforms) promptly and professionally.
• Enter and update reservations accurately.
• Upsell room types and hotel services to maximise revenue per available room.
• Respond to guest requests and special requirements (e.g. room preferences, early check-ins) with attention to detail.
• Coordinate with the front office, sales, and housekeeping to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Maintain knowledge of room rates, packages, promotions, and availability.
• Process modifications and cancellations as per hotel policy and ensure all details are updated in the system.
• Follow up on tentative bookings and ensure conversion to confirmed reservations.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on reservations and occupancy trends.
• Ensure all data is handled in compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in hotel reservations or front desk operations preferred. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
