Job Description
Hugo's Group in Malta is looking to recruit a Host/Hostess to join their team on a part-time basis. 

Job Role: 
The Host/Hostess must give a positive first impression of the establishment’s friendliness, excellent service, and high standards. The Host/Hostess must greet guests upon arrival, inform guests of their wait time, show them to their table and bid them farewell as they leave.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the planning, preparation, and organization of events;
• Answer incoming calls and emails and provide appropriate service;
• Create a positive, relaxed atmosphere where guests can enjoy themselves;
• Ensure that all health and safety measures are observed;
• Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner and direct them to their table;
• Help fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary;
• Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow;
• Offer farewells to guests as they leave the venue;
• Perform opening and closing duties, as needed;
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.

Requirements:

• Ability to multi-task with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment;
• Ability to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system;
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
• Flexible and approachable;
• Great interpersonal and communication skills;
• Have a positive attitude and able to work well under pressure;
• Must be able to work on a shift basis, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays;
• Strong leadership qualities.
