An opportunity has arisen for a motivated person to join our Sales Team as; Groups / Reservations Executive. Reporting and working closely with the Sales and Marketing Manager, the Groups / Reservations Executive will be the first point of contact for our clients.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Handle group enquiries and develop group quotations and contracts
- Able to build and maintain relations with new and existing clients
- Block and book room quotas and manage group reservations
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Adhere to group deposits and cancellations policies
- Maintain accurate filing systems for all group correspondence
- Ensure clients satisfaction, whilst implementing the Hotels’ standard operating procedures.
*The chosen candidate will also be assisting the Reservations Team in creating and maintaining individual room reservations in the property management system and upkeep of the Reservations e-mail inbox.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is an asset
- Fluent in both written and spoken English is required whilst a good knowledge of Maltese will be considered an asset
- Very good knowledge of MS Office; mostly Word and Excel
- Excellent communication skills and customer service
- Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Great personal presentation and welcoming personality.
